Description

Secrets and revelations at the exciting sites described in Dan Brown’s thrilling novel, Inferno, strolling through the darkest side of Florence: the Medieval town.
"Seek and You Shall Find."

And then add the incredible opportunity to discover Florence Duomo (Santa Maria del Fiore cathedral) and to see the city from an exclusive and breathtaking point of view: the Duomo terraces (that are normally not reachable) and Brunelleschi's magnificent Dome.

Symbols revealed, a magical atmosphere with mystery and suspense! All this and more on our unique tour of Florence that will introduce you to the sites described by Dan Brown in his book and seen in Tom Hanks' movie: Inferno.

Our charismatic guide will entertain you through an intriguing path of mind-blowing details, anecdotes, and clue-filled history that will reveal all the most important sights and locations that professor Robert Langdon visited in the Brownian dark masterpiece.
This Half Day walking tour will introduce you to Dante and his Divine Comedy; the guide will focus on Botticelli’s painting entitled Inferno and will include an in-depth description of the connection this has with Dante and the history of the Divine Comedy.
You will focus on the Medieval part of Florence, with its tower houses, narrow streets, dark mysteries.
The tour will then include the visit to the Baptistery, the Paradise Gates and the Duomo of Florence (if accessible) where you will be enlightened with knowledge of the symbols and codes as described in the book.

The highlight of the tour will be at Palazzo Vecchio, Town hall of Florence where faith and science join together with breathless revelations. This will lead the way through the beautiful “Salone dei 500” and the Museum of Palazzo Vecchio.
This unique building as described by Dan Brown as, “A giant chess piece that has become an inimitable symbol of Florence”. (cit. Dan Browns’ Inferno) - At Palazzo Vecchio we will admire the Hall of Geographical Maps, the Capriate, the balconies and Dante’s death Mask.
A tasting of Italian Coffee (Espresso) or cappuccino is included during the tour.

Entering with a skip-the-line ticket, with our knowledgeable and passionate guide you will then focus on Florence Duomo: the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, which is also often considered the symbol of the city.

Then, begin your ascent to Florence Heaven: the staircase climb, through narrow and openair corridors that have been closed to the public for centuries, will be rewarded by an incomparable view of the city from the Duomo Terraces, on the cathedral rooftop. A sky walk that will feel like floating between the city landscape, with its ancient roofs and towers, and the imposing Dome standing just a few meters above your head.
This is an exclusive visit of the Terraces, that are normally not open to the public.
Take the most incredible pictures from this 32-metre-high (105 ft) panoramic point right in the middle of the old town.

Learn how the massive self standing cathedral dome was built and how it can still firmly dominate Florence skyline after 600 years, withstanding earthquakes and the passage of time. With his astonishingly innovative approach in vaulting the dome space without any scaffolding, Brunelleschi changed the rules of architecture forever, by inventing the way to defy gravity and reach eternity.
Then, if you feel like continuing your climb, you can reach the top of Brunelleschi's Cupola (the Dome). Skipping the endless long lines, you will have the opportunity to reach the 91-metre-high (300 ft) panoramic viewpoint for the highest level of this Florentine Heaven and breathtaking views.

An interesting Florence City GuideBook will be our present to give you fresh suggestions and make your stay in Florence and Tuscany even more memorable.
